Women’s Introduction to Handguns (WITH) is a small, women’s only, one day classroom and range based curriculum. This curriculum is designed for a novice shooter to obtain and practice the fundamentals of firearms safety and to become familiar with the manipulation of their firearm.

This curriculum will start in a classroom environment covering multiple topics such as:

1. Universal Safety Rules

2. Range Etiquette

3. Functions of a Handgun

4. Ammunition Identification

5. Range Brief Prior to Live Fire

After the completion of the classroom portion, students will begin the live fire portion that will cover the fundamentals of shooting, such as:

1. Stance

2. Grip

3. Muzzle Discipline

4. Trigger Discipline

5. Sight Picture vs. Sight Alignment

By the completion of this course all students will be confident in their ability to be around and fire a handgun at 10 yards.
