Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) was developed by the Defense Health Agency in response to the massive amount - roughly 24% of combat related and 20% of civilian trauma deaths - which were potentially preventable if treated prior to medical personnel arriving on scene. TCCC - Basic is meant to prepare you as a first responder to intervene and stabilize a casualty before medical personnel arrive. You will learn the three phases of TCCC and the basic implementation of the MARCH algorithm and its associated medical interventions.

This curriculum will take approximately 8 hours to complete, with a maximum class size of 10 students.
